The Country NAP profiles (with entry points for the formulation of National Adaptation Plans) were developed by CLAR and Southern Voices on Adaptation network with the aim of supporting an inclusive, participatory, evidence-based, and gender-responsive National Adaptation Plan process in Uganda, Niger and Tanzania.

These profiles function as synthesis documents with a comprehensive (but non-exhaustive) list of information to multiple actors working on the National Adaptation Planning (NAP) process to gain knowledge and identify key climate risks, economic sectors, vulnerable communities and ecosystems, and the means in which climate and socio-economic resilience could be achieved through the country’s National Adaptation Plans in a participatory and inclusive manner.

The Profiles are accompanied by short summary briefs to ensure that the information is provided to policy makers and other audiences in search of a condensed yet comprehensive document providing the key information needed for the NAP formulation
