Learning Journeys combine online lessons led by climate change experts, peer to peer exchanges and coaching.
These in-depth trainings range from 14 to 28 weeks. Learning Journeys are available to CARE staff, CARE’s partners and other international or local organizations working in the climate change and resilience space.

This 16 week interactive training on Climate Change Adaptation combines online courses, peer to peer exchanges, quizzes and assignments. It will help you increase your knowledge on climate change adaptation and put it into practice at the community level.
The training can be completed with an optional 12-week individual coaching period where you will apply what you have learnt to a project of your choice. The 2022 journey will start in February!
This 14-week interactive training on climate advocacy combines online courses, peer to peer exchanges and individual and group assignments. It will help you increase your knowledge on climate advocacy and help you get a better understanding of how to put main climate advocacy approaches into practice. The training can be completed with an optional 12-week individual coaching period where you will apply what you have learnt to a project of your choice. The 2022 journey will start in February!
This 16 week learning journey is an online training to familiarize humanitarian and development practitioners with the refreshed CVCA 2.0 tool so that they can become trainers and facilitate successful and interactive training on vulnerability and capacity analysis. The 2021 journey will start in October!
This 18-week interactive training on Green Climate Fund (GCF) combines online courses, peer to peer exchanges and individual and group assignments. It will increase your knowledge on the Green Climate Fund (GCF), critical aspects relevant to GCF, help participants develop the skills required to engage on the GCF in advocacy and monitoring efforts in their countries or internationally, and obtain a better understanding of the provisions and possibilities for designing GCF projects and programmes. Assignments will encourage you to practice what you have learnt and will be as applied as possible to support you in developing ideas for your own transformational GCF programmes. The 2021 journey will start on Monday 18 October!
The Young Women Leadership on Climate Adaptation Online Executive Training is a virtual educational and capacity-building program that fosters the leadership of African young women to induce and realize sustainable solutions that build resilience to the changing climate.
