CARE International is a global leader within a worldwide movement dedicated to saving lives and ending poverty.

CARE International is a global confederation of 14 National Members and 4 Affiliates with a common vision and mission to defeat poverty. Each CARE Member is an independent organization that leads programs, raises funds, advocates on key issues, and communicates to the public in their country, thus supporting the work of CARE’s programming in 95 countries around the world.  As it increases its membership, CARE strives to make it diverse and include the Global South while continuing to work with many partners and allies to multiply our impact and achieve our vision.

Our Mission

CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice.

Our Focus

We put women and girls in the center because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.
