Welcome to the CARE Climate and Resilience Academy
The CARE Climate & Resilience Academy is an online learning platform and capacity-sharing initiative run by the CARE Climate Justice Center and supported by CARE experts. Its main objective is to increase humanitarian and development practitioners’ capacities to integrate climate change and adaptation in programs and policies, thereby increasing the resilience of most vulnerable people to climate-related risks.
Whether you work for CARE, with one of our partners, or for any other organization involved with climate change and resilience, this platform aims to expand and deepen your knowledge and understanding of climate change, and its causes and consequences.
Our resources build on existing knowledge and experience, and offer new skills and tools that enable participants to better tackle the complexity of the problem.
Learning resources are directly based on CARE’s 20 years of experience in resilience, community-based adaptation, climate advocacy, and in our own efforts to become a climate-smart organization.
There are 4 different types of learning resources available
SELF-PACED COURSES are free short courses, accessible 24/7 for people within and outside CARE.
LEARNING JOURNEYS are subscription-based interactive online training sessions that combine online courses, peer to peer exchanges and coaching.
