On 12 December 2020, the United Nations, United Kingdom, and France, in partnership with Chile and Italy, will co-host a virtual Climate Ambition Summit 20201 to mark the fifth anniversary of the adoption of the Paris Agreement.

CARE experts from around the world emphasis the need for countries to submit ambitious climate plans (NDCs) and to put women and girls  at the center of climate action. CARE’s new Report Card- Where is gender equality in national climate plans?, shows that more work awaits countries in order to integrate gender into their plans.
