The Paris Agreement on Climate Change requires countries to submit new or updated national climate action plans, the so-called Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) every five years.

This report analyses the most recent NDCs (as of 16 November 2020) in  regards to their gender performance. A scorecard approach has been used whereby countries are ranked in different groups according to how they have integrated gender equality throughout their NDCs.

The analysis applies WEDO’s Gender Climate Tracker NDC review framework.
